From corner to corner, the Arizona Wilderness Coalition is keeping watch over wilderness. From the russet expanse of the Grand Canyon and Arizona Strip, to the verdant forests and plateaus of the Sky Island region, AWC regional coordinators are in the field conducting inventories of potential new wilderness areas, rallying citizens to attend agency planning meetings, visiting with Congressional senators and representatives, and speaking to diverse audiences about why conserving wilderness is critical to the health of Arizona’s people, economy, and future generations.
